Skydance New Media, which is led by industry veteran Amy Henning, has announced a partnership with Marvel Entertainment. It is now working on its debut AAA title featuring an original story.
According to Skydance New Media, it formed a team of developers with decades of AAA experience in action-adventure games.
“The Marvel Universe epitomizes all the action, mystery and thrills of the pulp adventure genre that I adore and lends itself perfectly to an interactive experience,” Henning said.
It is unknown what characters or stories the upcoming title will be based on. It is described as a “narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure game, featuring a completely original story and take on the Marvel Universe.”
Skydance New Media was formed by Skydance Interactive in 2019. It is led by Amy Henning, who is best known for her work on the Uncharted and Jak and Daxter series, and Electronic Arts former producer Julian Beak.
