Gamescom has finally revealed the list of nominees for its annual award. Elden Ring, an upcoming action RPG developed by FromSoftware, leads the list with five nominations.

Elden Ring

Elden Ring is followed by Halo Infinite and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, with both of them being nominated in three categories.

It is worth noting that the list of the nominees only includes games that will be presented or shown during the event. Other categories include awards for the best announcement, best lineup, best trailer, best streamer, and a special Heart of Gaming award.

Gamescom 2021 will be held online from August 25 to August 27. Around 30 games will be presented during the Opening Night Live.
