Beyond Good & Evil has joined the list of games that are being made into movies.
“A Netflix feature film adaptation of Ubisoft ‘s epic space pirate adventure is in development!” the streaming service announced on Twitter.
While Netflix didn’t elaborate on the news, The Hollywood Reporter writes that the film will combine animation and live-action.
The movie, according to the website, will be based on the original 2003 title despite the art from Beyond Good & Evil 2 used in Netflix’s tweet.
Rob Letterman, who directed Detective Pikachu and Goosebumps, is reportedly set to direct the film.
