Sony Corporation announced “Sony Global Relief Fund for COVID-19,” a $100 million fund to support those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Sony intends the distribute the support across the areas:
- assistance for those engaged in frontline medical and first responder efforts ($10 million will go to the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and other organizations);
- support for children and educators working remotely through technology;
- support for the creative community in the entertainment industry, affected by the virus.
