Adam Sussman, formerly chief digital officer of Nike, is replacing Paul Meegan as Epic Games’ new president.
“After 5.5 great years at Nike, I have decided to move on to my next opportunity as President of Epic Games. Nike is an amazing brand, I got a chance to work with many great people and I am so proud of what we accomplished together. While it’s bittersweet, I am so excited to join Epic and honored to be part of the remarkable team that has built one of the biggest games in the world,” Adam Sussman said on LinkedIn.
While spending the good part of a decade at Nike, Sussman’s previous experience includes multiple leadership roles in the games industry. From 2012 to 2014, he was the senior VP of global publishing at Zynga. Before that, he briefly worked at The Walt Disney Company as senior VP of publishing for DIMG Games. Between 2007 and 2011, Sussman was VP of Global Publishing at EA Mobile, which was preceeded two years at Take 2 Interactive as VP and GM.
