The first quarter of the current fiscal year, lasting from April 1 to June 30, 2026, was highly successful for Capcom. In a recent report, the company announced growth in all key metrics.

  • According to Capcom, the company’s net revenue for the quarter amounted to 70.4 billion yen ($430 million), which is 55% more than last year.
  • Operating profit also surged, increasing by 67% to 41 billion yen ($250 million). In turn, net profit rose by 69% to 29.1 billion yen ($178 million).
  • According to the Japanese company, the successful launch of Pragmata is to be thanked for the revenue and profit growth.
  • Capcom also indicated in the report that from April to June 2026, it sold a total of 23.8 million copies of games. Compared to the previous year, sales increased by 68.1%.
  • Almost all copies sold were digital versions of games — 93.3%. It is known that PC titles were responsible for 60.4% of the sales, while console titles accounted for another 32.9%.
  • In Japan, Capcom sold “only” 9.2% of game copies. The company did not provide a precise breakdown for other countries.
  • For the entire fiscal year, Capcom still plans to earn 210 billion yen ($1.33 billion). If successful, this will be a new record for the company.
