Electronic Arts has officially confirmed that Respawn Entertainment is now working on three new titles in the Star Wars series. Players can expect one strategy game and one first-person shooter set in the famous universe.

Quantic Dream is currently working on Star Wars Eclipse, an action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. Industry insider Tom Henderson has released a video on the history of Star Wars Eclipse and the current state of the game, as alleged by various sources.

A rumored Star Wars game developed by Quantic Dream will reportedly be titled Eclipse. The project, which is set in the golden age of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi, might be revealed before the end of this year.

Quantic Dream, known for games like Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain, might be working on its new game. According to a few sources, it will be a title based on the Star Wars franchise.

During its E3 showcase, Microsoft revealed that a new expansion for Sea of Thieves will be based on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. And it looks like Disney also has plans to collaborate with other developers on bringing more of its IPs to video games.

At this point, it’s safe to say that BioWare and EA have nothing to do with the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Instead, the game is being developed by Aspyr, a studio known for porting titles on different platforms.

EA has no plans to slow down on developing new Star Wars projects despite losing exclusivity.

According to an insider, a new installment in the famous KOTOR series is in development. It’s still unclear whether it’ll be a sequel or remake, but BioWare reportedly has nothing to do with it.
