Sensor Tower has published a new report on the most popular mobile games in the US for the first half of 2021. “Imposter” became the fastest-growing theme, all thanks to a massive success of Among Us.

It’s been five years since Playrix released its mobile hit Gardenscapes, which has generated over $3 billion in player spending on iOS and Android by now.

The list was published of 10 highest-grossing mobile games of all time. Chinese MOBA Honor of Kings sits on top, with its total revenue approaching $10 billion.

The Witcher franchise continues its expansion to other platforms. It’s been revealed that mobile AR game The Witcher: Monster Slayer has already surpassed $500,000 in player spending on iOS and Android.

Riot Games entered the mobile market last year, and it has already achieved a significant milestone. According to Sensor Tower, the company’s three mobile games have already generated over $100 million.

Mobile action games are on the rise, and it’s no surprise that Genshin Impact is the leader in this genre. During the first half of the year, miHoYo’s game generated around $174 million in the US stores.

It took less than two weeks for Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds to generate over $100 million in revenue on mobile, according to Sensor Tower. It’s an impressive milestone, considering that the game is only available in a few regions.

Sensor Tower released its State of Mobile Gaming 2021 report. Among other things, the study found that consumer spending surpassed $22 billion in Q1 2021, representing an all-time high and 25 percent year-over-year growth.
