Supercell has updated information on access to its games in Russia and Belarus. There is now an exact time period when the company’s mobile titles will become unavailable in these countries.

Nick Katselapov, Chief Business Development Officer at Wargaming, has been added to the list of people related to terrorism by KGB Belarus (the State Security Committee). He was accused of financing terrorist activity.

Playrix has reportedly decided to completely leave Russia and Belarus, closing its offices in these countries. The mobile publisher, known for its Scapes franchise, will relocate the remaining staff to other countries.

Supercell, a world-famous mobile developer and publisher, has taken the next step in its support of Ukraine. The company decided to remove all of its games from digital storefronts in Russia and Belarus.

MY.GAMES Venture Capital, the investment arm of MY.GAMES, has invested in three studios: VOX, Tworogue Games, and Wideview Games. The total investments in the three studios amounted to around $3 million. In all three deals, MGVC acquired minority stakes in the studios with options to purchase control later.

MY.GAMES has announced the acquisition of Minsk, Belarus-based Mamboo Games, which publishes hyper-casual and hybrid-casual titles and develops its own games. In total, the Mamboo Games portfolio includes over 30 titles.

According to Sergey Brui, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Vizor Games, Belarus, the country’s IT industry is the strongest in the post-Soviet space in terms of maturity, potential and focus. That, however, is about to change, as Brui explains in his post on Facebook.

IGDA (The International  Game Developers Association), world’s biggest game developer community, published a statement on violence and human rights in Belarus.

Russia’s tech giant Yandex said unidentified armed men blocked entry and exit into its Minsk office. Yandex employs around 120 people in Minsk. While most of them are now working remotely, some employees are currently blocked in the office.
