Sony is making three movies and seven TV shows based on the PlayStation video games.
This is coming from Tony Vinciquerra, chairman and chief executive officer of Sony Pictures.
No exact titles have been named, but we know that the Uncharted film The Last of Us series are in development.
Vinciquerra also added that the studio is not planning to release their films concurrently on streaming and in theaters. However, the time between an exclusive theatrical release and streaming platform availability could be shorter: 30 days instead of more traditional 90-day or 45-day windows.
