Valve has announced Steam Game Festival Summer Edition. From June 9 to June 14, free demos of the upcoming games will be featured on the store. Developers wishing to participate must submit applications by April 24.

This is the third festival featuring demos or short playable experiences hosted by Valve’s storefront — the previous ones took place in December and March. The spring festival showcased demos from the canceled GDC 2020. The summer event is designed to make up for the E3 cancellation.

Valve is preparing an event in collaboration with The Game Awards producer Geoff Keighley.
